Canterbury-Bankstown is full of post-war brick and fibro homes whose original concrete tile roofs went on within a couple of decades of each other. They are now reaching the same milestones together: failed pointing, rusted valleys, gutters past saving.

Campsie mixes post-war houses with a dense band of walk-up apartment blocks and shopfront buildings along the main streets.
