Emergency Roof Repairs Sydney

An emergency roof job is one where water is actively entering the building or the roof is open to the weather. Those jobs move to the front of the queue, because every hour of exposure adds to the damage inside.

Call 0485 708 883 and describe what is happening. We will tell you honestly when we can be there, what we can do on arrival, and what you can do in the meantime to limit the damage.

What counts as a roofing emergency

  • Water running or dripping into the house during rain
  • A ceiling bulging or sagging with trapped water
  • Tiles or metal sheets removed by wind, leaving the roof space open
  • A tree limb resting on or through the roof
  • Water near light fittings, ceiling fans or the switchboard
  • A commercial roof leaking over stock, equipment or a trading area

Steps to take before we arrive

  • Turn off power to affected circuits if water is near electrical fittings
  • Move belongings out from under the leak and protect flooring
  • Place a bucket under the drip and empty it before it overflows
  • Keep clear of any bulging ceiling; a full plasterboard sheet is heavy
  • Stay off the roof — wet tiles and metal cause serious falls every year

What we do on arrival

First we make the building safe and stop the water where we can: clearing blockages, tarping open sections, freeing dammed valleys and gutters. Then we identify the underlying fault and give you a written quote for the permanent repair.

Emergency attendance and make-safe work are charged separately from the permanent repair, and we tell you what each will cost before we start.

Questions

Emergency Roof Repairs Sydney — FAQs

Are you available 24/7?
We do not advertise a 24/7 service. Call 0485 708 883 and we will tell you the earliest we can realistically attend rather than making a promise that leaves you waiting.
Is emergency work more expensive?
Urgent attendance and temporary make-safe work are quoted separately from the permanent repair, so you can see exactly what you are paying for at each stage.
Should I claim on insurance for an emergency repair?
Many policies cover sudden storm damage and some contribute to make-safe costs. Keep our invoice and photos, check your product disclosure statement, and talk to your insurer early.
